Similar to its sister hotel in Nice the rooms are very affordable if travelling outside of peak season! The rooms are a bit small (to be expected in Paris) and the toilet has a window into it from the bedroom (in our room at least) so maybe not the best choice for people sharing who aren't incredibly comfortable together!
The bar/restaurant is great for a drink before heading out and filled with locals. We never had lunch or dinner there but the breakfast will set you up nicely for the day.
There are lots of great restaurants and cafés in the area. We didn't use the public transport but the main sites are all a very quick cycle away.
this was the cutest boutique hotel in Paris. I appericated the personal touches they did for our special occasion. I will say this hotel is not for everyone so please do your research beforehand. Regardless the staff was the sweetest and enjoyed my stay. Perfect for couples
Be prepared for some of the smallest rooms you have ever seen. Had to sit sideways on the toilet. Closing the shower door requires some acrobatics. The beds are definitely smaller than a twin. I could reach both ends of the room by stretching my arms. But, nice location and such sweet staff.
Cutest boutique hotel in Pigalle.
Rooms are great. Restaurant/bar in the hotel is also great.
Rooms are clean and bright.
For the westerners, there’s a handheld shower but no stand shower, just a tub.
Would recommend for a couple! Area has a lot of restaurants and shops around.
One of the cutest hotels I’ve stayed in, in a long time. Great location and wonderful employees. Our room had a small patio in the interior of the building above the restaurant which was a treat to wind down the day on. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Look at some of the quirky rooms with mirrors on the ceiling or lit up disco balls in your room. Fun place.
Update: Went a few weeks ago, and have to say it seemed better. New items, tasted pretty good. Cautiously recommending them again. I'll confirm on my next visit.
As a long time customer, I'm sad to do this, but honestly, what the heck happened with the quality of the food at the restaurant? It was never amazing to begin with, lazy and typical choices you'd find in 75% of all other places in this city. But the last few times I went, I couldn't even finish the dish served to me. Bland, uninspired, not tasty. I can't believe an institution like this could let itself down so hard. I can tell that the owner Andre, who is often there, pays hyper attention to detail, and that's why I love the ambiance of the place. The staff are all great. But the food?! I really hope someone there reads this and takes note. It's time to change the menu and revitalise the kitchen staff there. Please, I'd like to have the old Amour back.
The best coffee in Paris ) Rooms super sexy chic
The rooms were fun beautifully decked out but petite, however my designer sun glasses were taken out of my handbag the first evening when I had just arrived from the U.K. (I took them off as it was dark and put them in my bag) this was in the restaurant and having read other reviews I realise they have a theft issue here and this is really unacceptable. My complaint was dealt with, with a a smirk too by the rude manageress. I was just brushed off and I felt violated!
